Image Encryption
Creates a single file with the extension "jar", a jar archive
(pea - password encryption archive),
indicating an archive to display images after entering a password.
Instructions
- Select the button "new project", select the project "image display"
- Click "open image file" to select an image.
You can encrypt the existing image file or a copy.
- Fill in the form:
- Password: Type the password to open the encrypted image later.
The password must be repeated.
If no password is typed, this will be encrypted (after a warning) by a blank password
(this is only useful if the archive is stored in a location other than the encrypted file).
- name of the jar file: There is created a jar file with this name.
For example, if myImage has been entered, the myImage.jar file in peas folder is created.
The extension .jar is added automatically.
If no name is entered, a file default.jar is created.
- Text above the password field: This text will appear later on the field for entering the password.
It can be (carefully) used as a memory aid.
If nothing is entered, the text "enter password..." appears.
- The Button "create jar file" creates the encryption archive.
It is located in the folder peas of this program. The folder opens after confirmation.
-
The created archive can then be moved or copied,
for example on an USB stick and can be started from there.
In the password entry dialog files can be selected.
